About Lindsey Sleeseman
I'm Lindsey. I work where the GTM plan meets the buyer.
I'm a cybersecurity GTM operator who builds outbound systems, gets into actual conversations and uses what happens in the field to make the strategy better.
Just Lindsey is where I document the work, the experiments and the lessons that survive contact with real buyers.
The background
Founder to cyber GTM to independent operator.
I founded VantagePointLeads in 2021, building my first SDR business around outbound execution.
That work opened the door to Laminar, where I gained hands-on experience in cybersecurity GTM before its acquisition by Rubrik.
My career continued through Rubrik-related GTM work and independent cybersecurity engagements. Today, I work directly in the field, connecting targeting, messaging, qualification and execution.
I've built teams and systems, but I still value the information you can only get by picking up the phone, starting conversations and listening to buyers.
How I work
Execution gives strategy its evidence.
Start with the actual buyer.
ICPs and personas should tell you who to contact, why they might care and what makes the conversation worth having.
Test the message in the field.
A messaging framework isn't proof that the message works. Conversations, objections and meeting outcomes give you something to learn from.
Build around what actually happens.
Good GTM systems make the next action clearer, reduce manual work and preserve the context operators need to improve.
The reason behind the brand
Why Just Lindsey?
Because the work is personal, even when the systems are complicated.
This isn't a collection of recycled sales advice. It's a place to share what I'm building, what I'm testing and what I'm learning from actual GTM execution.
You'll find cybersecurity explained in practical terms, outbound lessons, SDR strategy, AI-enabled workflows and the occasional strong opinion about how sales teams operate.
The goal is simple: make GTM strategy more useful to the people responsible for executing it.
