I founded and ran my first SDR business. I built client programs and owned the work from strategy through delivery and team execution. That business was my entry into Laminar.
Just Lindsey / Selected experience
I have built SDR businesses, worked inside cybersecurity GTM teams, and returned to independent execution. Here is the work behind that arc.
The experience
Founder and operator
2021–23
I founded and ran my first SDR business. I built client programs and owned the work from strategy through delivery and team execution. That business was my entry into Laminar.
Cybersecurity GTM
2023
I worked in outbound before Laminar's acquisition by Rubrik, engaging enterprise security buyers around a technical product. The work demanded product understanding and finding the person who owned the problem.
Special projects
2023–25
I worked on emerging-product GTM, outbound special projects, market testing and new sales motions. Early signals and buyer feedback informed what to test next.
Co-founder and operator
Apr 2025–Aug 2026
I co-founded and ran an outsourced SDR business. I led the SDR team, managed client delivery, and built the operating processes and reporting that kept the work visible. The role pushed me to learn operations and AI while remaining close to execution.
Independent contractor
Current
I now work independently on infrastructure security outbound. The work includes account research and penetration, technical-buyer conversations, qualification and learning from buyer response.
Across the work
A plan has to hold up in the market. These are three things I pay attention to when working with technical products and buyers.
Identify who owns the problem, what could trigger action and whether the account hypothesis holds up in a real conversation.
Product understanding improves the questions, qualification and handoff when buyers know the technical details.
Capture objections, referrals and unexpected answers clearly enough to improve the next account, message or test.
Systems and AI
Research and automation can improve preparation, technical-product learning and the handling of field evidence. Human judgment still owns the conversation and the decision to act. I use systems to reduce friction between a buyer signal and a better next move.
